Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the construction and operations teams for renewable energy projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations, managing contractual notices, and handling disputes and arbitration matters in collaboration with the Head of EPC and Legal Counsel.
You will play a key role in reviewing and analyzing project schedules, identifying critical path items, and working closely with contractors to minimize delays. Additionally, you will oversee cost management by coordinating with the construction team, owners' engineers, and lenders to ensure milestone payments are met and contractor claims are properly managed.
You will support the procurement process, negotiating contract terms and leading procurement activities during both construction and operations. Ensuring that quality management standards are maintained throughout the project's lifecycle will also be a key responsibility, as well as monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) risks with the project HSE team.
Reporting will be a critical part of the role, as you will coordinate with the project team to ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive reports for all stakeholders. You will also assist in the recruitment and management of resources, providing leadership on EPC and O&M contractual matters.
Risk management will be a significant focus, as you will identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks across health, safety, finance, schedule, quality, and environmental factors. Effective communication of these risks to stakeholders is crucial to proactively managing potential issues.
This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership, and strong project management skills to ensure the successful execution of complex renewable energy projects.
