Job Description

The Electrical Site Supervisor will oversee all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring that installation works comply with the approved design, EPC contract requirements, electrical standards, HSSE regulations, and project quality plans. 

Minimum Requirements 

  • BSc / BTech / NDip in Electrical Engineering

  • 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering or electrical construction experience

  • Experience working on at least two (2) utility-scale solar PV projects in a similar electrical site role

  • Strong understanding of:

    • PV electrical installation methods

    • DC & AC systems

    • Cable management & trenching

    • MV/LV equipment and switchgear

    • Electrical QA/QC, ITPs and testing requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, method statements and technical specifications

  • Experience supervising electrical subcontractors and ensuring compliance with standards and safety requirements

  • Strong commitment to HSSE and safe electrical practices

  • Proven risk management capability — identifying, assessing and proactively mitigating electrical, construction and safety risks

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work independently in remote site environments
