Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused 3-Phase Solar Wireman Electrician Lead to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. Key Responsibilities:
- Route and connect wiring correctly for both DC and AC circuits, ensuring compliance with SANS 10142-1.
- Install all electrical protection and control devices, including circuit breakers, residual current devices (RCD), surge protectors, and isolation switches, adhering strictly to South African standards.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning in compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, addressing technical queries and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Oversee installations, provide leadership on-site, and ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- South African citizen (valid South African ID holder).
- Registered Three-Phase Wireman with a valid Wireman’s License (Installation Electrician or general registered Wireman).
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience working on solar PV projects, preferably commercial and industrial.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven history of direct client interactions.
Preferred (Advantageous):
- Experience working with battery storage systems.
- Additional industry certifications (e.g., PV GreenCard, inverter manufacturer training).
